Ukrainian Minister for Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba instructed the Consulate of Ukraine in Antalya to work with the Turkish authorities to resume flights from Antalya. This was announced by Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleg Nikolenko on Twitter.
“Due to the delay of flights from Ukraine to Turkey, the schedule of flights Antalya - Kyiv and Antalya - Odesa changed. Dmytro Kuleba instructed the Consulate of Ukraine in Antalya to cooperate with the air carrier to provide Ukrainian passengers with food and temporary accommodation, and cooperate with Turkish authorities in order to resume flights as soon as possible,” Nikolenko wrote.
In the morning on June 1, it became known that there is a delay in departure of flights to Turkey at the Boryspil International Airport.
According to airport officials, the flights were delayed for reasons out of airport's control, in particular due to the absence of permission from Turkey.
As it was reported earlier, Ukrainian citizens now need a negative test for coronavirus to enter Turkey.
At the same time, to cross the Turkish border travelers must fill out a registration form within 72 hours before the date of entry.
