Ukraine's Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin has claimed that he did know on the holding of the special operation with Babchenko when he spoke at the special meeting of the UN Security Council. He reported this on Facebook.
At the same time, the minister noted that the statement that Russia will destabilize the situation in Ukraine, including such methods, 'is more than justified'.
'I was asked did I know about the special operation with Babchenko, speaking at the UN Security Council. I answer: I did not know; I spoke sincerely. I am very pleased that Arkadiy is alive. As you see, my thesis that Russia will destabilize the situation in Ukraine, including such method, is more than justified', the minister said.
Earlier President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko claimed that he knew about the staging of Babchenko's murder.
Arkadiy Babchenko, reported murdered yesterday in Kyiv, is alive. As a result of the special operation conducted by Ukrainian law enforcers, the killer who received the order to murder Arkadiy Babchenko and the organizer of the murder were detained. Only a very limited circle of people knew that the murder of Arkadiy Babchenko was staged.
