Ukraine’s football team rises up in FIFA rating

Victories in the League of Nations have improved the position of the Shevchenko team

International Football Association (FIFA) has updated its rating of the world’s national teams. This was reported on the official website of the organization.

Belgian team took the first place of the September rating and together with France headed the list. Brazilian national team is on the third place.

Ukraine's team went up six positions due to victories in the League of Nations over the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Now the team of Andriy Shevchenko takes the 29th place, surrounded by Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Ukraine team will play its next matches in early October. At first, Ukrainians will play a friendly match against Italy, and then host the Czechs in the League of Nations match.

As it was reported earlier, Andriy Yarmolenko, the winger of West Ham United and Ukraine's national team, showed up in his squad's starting eleven, as The Hammers stood against Everton in Liverpool. The full-fledged debut turned out great, with the Ukrainian scoring twice - both times in the first half. Everton managed to return one goal, but the guests stood their ground, making the final score 1-3.
