The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine set $816,000 losses from the Russian military equipment, smuggled by Optimumspecpetail company to Ukraine's plants of Ukroboronprom state concern, which supervises defense industry production facilities. Yuriy Lutsenko, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, stated this, as 112 Ukraine reports.

“All our checks have confirmed that metal was supplied to the defense complex enterprise. Moreover, we have found out that this metal was used while repairing the military equipment, used rather successfully in the Donbas conflict zone. In particular, 115 BTR, Armoured Transporter, which last year was sent by the Armored plant of Kharkiv,” Lutsenko said.

State defense facilities purchased the smuggled spare parts from private companies linked to Hladkovsky and his friends at highly inflated prices. Ukroboronprom state concern, which supervises defense industry production facilities, knew the origin of the smuggled parts but agreed to purchase them.

Igor Gladkovsky, along with Vitaliy Zhukov (former advisor of “Ukroboronprom” Director, the member of supervisory council of “Meridian” company till 2013, former assistant of Yuriy Tereshchenko, ex-Head of State Service of export control, Oleg Gladkovsky’s friend, - ed.) and Andriy Rogoza (CEO of “Inter Steel Ltd.”, - ed.) were supplying smuggled Russian components and components from the Ukrainian military units through straw companies at prices 2-4 times higher than market ones.

Ukrainian presidential candidate Yulia Tymoshenko has initiated impeachment proceedings against Poroshenko, as his company Leninska Kuznia was involved as a straw company.
