“Economic indicators support the base of our dialogue. The trade circulation between our countries increased by 18,5% in 2017 and reached $1,2 billion. At the same time, Ukrainian export to Austria increased by 48%. It is a result of introduction of a profound and broad free-trade zone between Ukraine and the EU, as earlier Ukraine signed an Agreement of Association with the EU,” Poroshenko said.
The President added that 40 Austrian enterprisers have a direct interest in widely different manufacturing sectors in Ukraine – from pharmacy to agriculture and processing industry.
“Austrian business feels comfortable in Ukraine, as to sociological surveys, investors and enterprisers,” Poroshenko noted.
As it was reported earlier, Ukraine filled 100% quota of honey export to the EU this year.
