Ukraine’s court rules to block four Telegram channels

Kyiv district court of Kharkiv has ruled to block four Telegram channels suspected in the subversive activities by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU). The issue is about Lehitymny (Legitimate), Resident, Kartel (Cartel) and Plitkarka (Gossip Girl) Telegram channels as the National Commission for the State Regulation of Communications and Informatization reported.

The National Commission is asked to force internet service providers to close access to these resources.

“The copy of the mention regulation of the investigating judge on the arrest of the property should be sent to the National Commission for the State Regulation of Communications and Informatization for its fulfillment within the competence. The regulation might be appealed five days after its announcement. The regulation should be executed immediately after its announcement,” the message said.

As we reported, the large-scale network was exposed that was engaged in the defamation of the bodies of the state power and destabilization of the situation in Ukraine at the request of the special services of Russia. 

Earlier, the SBU announced that a Russian mercenary, the founder and leader of the Pyatnashka terrorist organization is now on the wanted list. The man is also suspected of torturing captured Ukrainian servicemen.
