Ukraine’s CEC registers another 63 MPs

There are 20 representatives from the Servant of the People, 11 from the Opposition Platform – For Life and 4 from European Solidarity

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has registered another 63 MPs elected at the snap parliamentary elections on July 21. The press office of the CEC reported it.

It is mentioned, that the commission continued its work in the session regime.

“According to the Constitution of Ukraine, Ukraine’s law On elections of lawmakers of Ukraine and on the basis of the particular CEC protocols on the results of the snap elections of the MPs of Ukraine at the multi-member constituencies, the commission registered 35 lawmakers elected during the snap parliamentary elections on July 21, 2019, at the multi-member constituencies,” the message reads.

It is noted that there are 20 MPs from the political party The Servant of the People, 11 lawmakers from The Opposition Platform – For Life and four MPs from European Solidarity.

CEC also registered 28 lawmakers at the single-member constituencies.

The total number of the registered MPs makes 145 persons, 72 of them were chosen at multi-member constituencies and 73 at single-member constituencies.
