The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the resignation of Pavlo Zhebrivsky from the post of the Head of Donetsk Region Civil-Military Administration. Pavlo Rozenko, the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine claimed this to Interfax-Ukraine.
“We have agreed on the act of the president on the dismissal of Zhebrivsky on his own free will,” he said.
As we reported Pavlo Zhebrivsky asked President Poroshenko to accept his resignation letter on June 11.
“I met with President Petro Poroshenko on Saturday and asked him to accept my resignation. He did so, and the government has to consider it on Wednesday,” Zhebrivsky wrote.
Pavlo Zhebrivsky was appointed Head of Donetsk Region Civil-Military Administration on June 11, 2015. It was re-organized from the Donetsk Regional State Administration since March 5, 2015. It is situated in Kramatorsk.
Mass media reported that Yuriy Hrymchak, the Deputy Minister of Temporarily Occupied Territories and IDPs, will be Zhebrivsky’s successor, however, he does not confirm this information.
