The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine told how it is going to work after martial law ends, the adviser to the State Border Service Head, Oleg Slobodyan claimed this on the air of 112 Ukraine.
‘Regarding the competence of the Border Guard Service of Ukraine after martial law overs, we will continue acting within the framework of the unified plan of the national security and defense sector and fulfilling our job of monitoring the entry of foreigners,’ Slobodyan said.
The border service reminded that over the last month, about 1,650 Russian citizens were refused to enter Ukraine.
‘Most likely, the measures on control of foreigners’ entry will continue to be taken. Although the threat of Russian invasion has decreased there are still risks at the border, this is why at this stage such a measure on enhanced control is absolutely justified,’ he added.
He has also added that the format of the enhanced border security has been ongoing since 2014.
‘There is one thing, owing to the management of forces and equipment, we reinforce certain areas where it is most necessary for the state at this very moment,’ the border service noted.
