This year’s plan on enlisting contract soldiers in Ukraine is fulfilled by 90%, as a representative of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine told our reporter.

According to the official, about 30.000 citizens, including 3.000 conscripted soldiers, decided to sign the contract to serve for the Ukrainian Army this year. He noted that the military service has become competitive on the labour market due to the pay rise.
