Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ruslan Khomchak got infected with the coronavirus as Syohodni reported citing the Defense Ministry.

The ministry stated that a few days ago Khomchak had no signs of infection.

“It is true. However, a few days ago we saw him at work he looked absolutely healthy,” the ministry’s representative said.

As of September 10, in Ukraine, 145,612 laboratory-confirmed cases of Covid-19, 3,023 of which were fatal, 65,877 patients recovered. 2,582 new cases have been observed over the last 24 hours. A total of 1,778,483 PCR tests were performed. 1,174 patients managed to recover during September 9. In 24 hours, 2,582 people have been diagnosed with Covid-19 in Ukraine.
