Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed trade and economic cooperation with his Georgian counterpart Salome Zourabichvili. The state leaders also coordinated cooperation within the EU institutions. Zelensky stated this during his official visit to Poland, as the President’s press service informed.
The meeting was held within participation in the memorial events marking the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of World War II on September 1.
The interlocutors commended the political dialogue between the two countries, special attention was paid to the issues of security and defense.
Zelensky and Zourabichvili came to an agreement to exchange visits at the highest level.
The meetings with Polish President Andrzej Duda, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, Marshal of the Senate Stanislaw Karczewski, and businessmen are planed within the program of the visit.
