Ukraine’s Ministry of Culture has prepared all the necessary documents in order to declare the 2018 the year of restoration of cultural heritage. This was reported on the air of Channel 5 by the Minister of Culture Yevhen Nyshchuk.

"In Europe next year in terms of culture is a year of cultural heritage, and we have now prepared all the documents for the president's decree so that next year in Ukraine is declared the year of restoration of cultural heritage. Then every city, should provide funds for the renovation of its museums, reserves, palaces, "the minister said.

At the same time, Nyshchuk noted that six months ago, the registration and register updating of architectural monuments and historical records was resumed.

As it was reported earlier Ukrainian Cossack songs were included to UNESCO World Heritage List. Cossack songs of Dnipro region are defined as heritage in need of urgent safeguarding.
