The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to withdraw Ukraine from two more agreements with the CIS on space. The relevant decision was made during a government meeting.

Ukraine leaves the agreement on the Procedure for Financing Joint Activity for the Exploration and Use of Outer Space.

According to the explanatory note, the agreement was signed on November 13, 1992 in Moscow. The main subject of the agreement is the approval of the principle of financing at the expense of share contributions of interstate programs of research and use of outer space, which are approved by the Council of Heads of State of the CIS.

"Based on the results of the analysis, it is proposed to terminate the participation of the Ukrainian side in the Agreement on the Procedure for Financing Joint Activity for the Exploration and Use of Outer Space due to the fact that the agreement does not meet Ukraine's national interests, has no practical significance for Ukraine and is not used." the document states.
