'Ukraine will use international mediators for talks with Russia,' - Presidential Office Head

Head of the Office of President Andriy Bohdan claimed Ukraine would be using international mediators for talks with Russia, as he said in an interview for RBK-Ukraine.

“As far as I understood, we will still be using the international mediators,” Bohdan said.

He added that the international partners believe that political negotiations are possible in a Normandy format.

Earlier, President of France Emmanuel Macron said Ukraine and Russia should take real steps to restore Normandy format.

The Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel stated she welcomed the restoration of Normandy format within the Minsk process.

U.S. Special Representative on Ukraine Kurt Volker considers the meeting of Normandy format leaders France, Germany, Ukraine, and Russia possible in July. Yet, according to him, it should be agreed with Kyiv and Moscow.
