Ukraine’s Embassy to the United States is interested in the investigation concerning Ukraine’s interference with the US presidential elections of 2016. This was stated by the Ukraine’s Ambassador to the US Valeriy Chaly on air of ERA fm radio.
“For the time being, there is no such investigation. But we reacted very briefly to the statement very seriously and brief without starting any debates. The Embassy of Ukraine in the United States is most interested in this investigation, because we hope that it will become clear how the fake articles on the information campaign about Ukraine's interference in the US election appeared in some agencies ” Chaly said.
Information in media that Ukrainian delegation was only in Hillary Clinton's election headquarters is absolutely fake, according to him.
Chaly assured that the Ukrainian Embassy did not support this or that candidate and "there could not be any embassy’s interference whatsoever."
"America is important, but all the talks about the campaign can detract from the strategic vision of common goals in the future," Chaly said.
And regarding the future and the past pre-election campaign, it was the Embassy that monitored the situation in both headquarters and contacted the congresses of the two parties (Republicans and Democrats) in order to have future interaction with this or that administration of the United States,” he said.
"As a result, we have a two-party support of the USA,” he noted.
As it was reported earlier Trump said Ukraine tried to sabotage election campaign. According to him, this country tried to support the candidate for presidency from the Democratic Party Hillary Clinton.
