President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum signed a memorandum on the visa-free regime as the spokesman of the president Sviatoslav Tseholko reported at Facebook.

The document was signed in the result of the negotiations.

'It is good news for the Ukrainian tourists. 112 000 Ukrainians visited the UAE only last year', he wrote.

The memorandum will come into force in December 2017 as Poroshenko reported at the briefing broadcasted by 112 Ukraine.

'This agreement will come into force in December after the exchange of the notes. The Ukrainians will freely travel to one more extremely important and attractive for us country. The value of the Ukrainian passport continues to increase. I want to emphasize that we will not stop. The Foreign Ministry continues extremely important work by my order', he said.

Poroshenko agreed with Saudi Arabia on the liberalization of the visa regime yesterday. Moreover, he offered the Saudi companies to participate in the privatization in Ukraine. Also, the sides agreed on the cooperation in political, investment, trade and economy, energy, military and technical spheres.
