“The notification about the accident was sent to Ukraine - the country that designed the plane. Ukraine has appointed the authorized representative and advisors who will take part in the investigation in the framework of Annex 13 of the Chicago Convention,” the statement says.
It is noted that now close attention is paid to searching for flight recorders and identifying the preserved fragments of the plane for their further evacuation from the place of the crash for layout.
One of the flight recorders (containing photos) was found on the site and it will soon be distributed to the laboratory of the Interstate Aviation Committee for evaluation of its state and decoding.
As it was reported earlier, a passenger plane of Saratov Airlines crashed after its departure from Moscow to Orsk near the village of Argunovo in the Moscow region on Feb. 11. 71 people died in the crash.
