Ukraine to spend $550,000 for ads on CNN

There will be 580 thirty seconds long clips about "Ukraine now" brand

State-owned enterprise “The center of protection of the informational space of Ukraine” of the Ministry of Informational Policy ordered advertising service in CFC Consulting, which belongs to Hennadiy Kurochka, and spent $550,000 for that. The information about the competitive tender is published on Prozorro.

The Information Ministry ordered ads about Ukraine on the world’s leading TV channels. The winner company has to provide ads broadcasting for at least 200 million unique viewers per months with round-the-clock broadcast without weekends in 150 countries.

The document signed between the ministry and the company says that 580 ads, 30-second long, have to be broadcasted. At least half of them – in prime-time.

The clips have to include “banner campaign” on the website of the TV channel with no less than 500,000 displays. The services will be provided till the end of 2018.

Arten Bidenko, the State Secretary of the Ministry, specified for Pravda that it is about 30-second long clips on CNN International. The clips will popularize Ukraine, in particular, “Ukraine now” brand.
