Ukraine to return to “red” quarantine zone in autumn

Ukraine will return to the “red” zone of quarantine this autumn as 1+1 TV channel reported citing Chief Sanitary Doctor of Ukraine Ihor Kuzin.

“I am sure that we will definitely return to the “red” zone. It is only the issue of time,” he said.

Kuzin confirmed these words by reminding about epidemic situations in other countries and detection of Delta coronavirus strain in Ukraine. “Almost 100 countries report that Delta strain causes large and quick outbreaks in the territory of the states,” he explained.

Chief Sanitary Doctor noted that it is important to focus on vaccination to provide the largest part of the population with immunity.

As we reported, one-third of the population in Ukraine is immune to coronavirus. It was announced by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Oleksiy Danilov.
