Health Minister of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov assured that Ukraine would get Pfizer vaccine; however, with delay, as Ukraine 24 reported.
However, Stepanov did not announce particular terms of the drug’s supply due to the confidentiality of information.
“As soon as we conclude contracts that we might disclose, we would report. We have serious confidential terms,” the Health Minister said.
According to him, Ukraine has already registered Pfizer vaccine at private hospitals.
Meanwhile, the Health Ministry added that Ukraine will also get the vaccines from other producers. However, it is impossible to import them now.
On February 23, Pfizer vaccine against Covid-19 was registered in Ukraine. Currently, there are two of these officially approved for use in Ukraine - AstraZeneca-Covishield, and Pfizer. Oleg Lyashko.
On February 26, it was reported that Ukraine would receive 10 million doses of Pfizer's coronavirus vaccine. This was stated by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Israel Yevgen Korniychuk.
