The next batch of the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine will be supplied to Ukraine soon. It is expected on May 17 as Ukraine 24 reported citing Health Minister Maksym Stepanov.

“We expect soon, preliminary starting from May 17, the receiving of Pfizer vaccine within COVAX initiative,” Stepanov said.

Moreover, soon, the supply of Sinovac and AstraZeneca drugs is expected on direct contract.

As we reported, 18,264 people received the first dose of the vaccine against coronavirus in Ukraine on May 11. Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, 882,621 patients received the first dose. Meanwhile, 1,928 people finished the immunization (received two doses).

Besides, it is planned to vaccinate 70% of the population in Ukraine until 2022. Until the end of 2021, it is planned to vaccinate the majority of the adults in Ukraine.
