Ukraine will participate in the clinical trials of the Indian spray against coronavirus. Health Minister of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov said so.

“We reached the agreement on the participation in the clinical trials of the development of the new vaccine in the form of the nasal spray and drops,” the official says.

According to him, the new product is at the first stage of trials.

“They will move quickly. We can hold second and third stages in Ukraine,” he said.

The minister explained that if Ukraine held some part of the clinical trials, in case of efficacy, the government would get priority access to the vaccine.

On February 23, the first batch of the vaccine against coronavirus arrived in Ukraine. It is 500,000 doses of CoviShield called by Volodymyr Zelensky to be one of the best.

According to the Health Ministry, today, the first stage of the vaccination against coronavirus starts in Ukraine.
