Ukraine will make a negative result of PCR testing for Covid-19 a condition of entry into the country, which must be done 48 hours before entering the country, as Health Minister Maksym Stepanov said during the Hour of Questions to the government in the Verkhovna Rada.
"Regarding the certificate of a negative result of the PCR test: the Ministry of Health has submitted to the government for consideration the amendments to the decree, which it provides. I am sure that at the next meeting this issue will be considered, and citizens of other countries, regardless of the incidence rate, will have to provide a certificate of a negative PCR test 48 hours in advance," the minister said.
As we reported earlier, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted in the first reading and in general bill #5247 that lifts any responsibility for consequences from the producers of vaccines against Covid-19, medical employees and everyone involved in the holding of the vaccination program. 236 MPs supported the decision as 112.ua.tv reported.
“Considering the circumstances under which the vaccines were developed for the prevention of Covid-19 that are used within the permission for urgent use for the fight against the pandemic, the partakers of COVAX mechanism agree to release the producers of vaccines against Covid-19 from responsibility for particular risks that might appear as a result of the use of these vaccines,” the explanatory note states.
The document amends the law of Ukraine On drugs toward the state registration of the vaccines or other medical immunobiological preparations under the obligations.
