Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine claimed that Ukraine will get the perspective of the membership in the EU in 2021. He claimed this during his speech at the World Economic Forum as 112 Ukraine broadcasted.

'I am absolutely sure that after the wave of the populism of Eurosceptics everything will be good. The only thing that will change in 2021 is that Ukraine will get the perspective of the membership in the EU with support from Poland and Lithuania', Poroshenko said.

Moreover, the president emphasized the necessity of the unity of the EU and other democratic countries.

'The basis for our unity is our values but not money', he claimed.

'I am absolutely sure that we will win in the propaganda warfare, in the information war and we will become the winner in the hybrid war because the truth is on our side', the Ukrainian president claimed.

Ukraine signed the Association Agreement with the EU in 2014 after the Revolution of Dignity. The Agreement was ratified by the Ukrainian Parliament, European Parliament and national parliaments of all EU countries during 2014-2017.
