Ukraine to enter NATO next after Montenegro, - Paruby

Verkhovna Rada Speaker added that Ukrainian experience will be of use to Alliance members

Ukraine has to be one of the countries which will enter NATO after Montenegro. This was announced at the briefing by the speaker of Ukrainian Parliament Andriy Paruby on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.

“I think our goal should be to join NATO, and I believe that Ukraine should be one of the states to enter NATO next after Montenegro,” Paruby said.

Verkhovna Rada Speaker added that Ukrainian experience will be of use to Alliance members

“The experience of Ukraine, which opposes Russia, is necessary for all NATO members. Moreover, the Ukrainian army today is capable of being a very reliable ally in providing security throughout the eastern European region, which is the eastern border of NATO. In terms of logistics and capabilities, Ukrainian army can provide very effective support, including to our neighbors. I have no doubt that cooperation with Ukraine is beneficial for NATO, "the Verkhovna Rada speaker added.

As it was earlier NATO leader and Ukraine’s defense minister met in Brussels. No details of the meeting are available so far, reported Ukrainian mission in NATO.
