Ukraine will continue to look for guilty in the death of journalist Andrea Rocchelli and his translator Andriy Myronov as Deputy Interior Minister Anton Herashchenko reported.

“Last autumn, after the horrible and unfair sentence for Vitaliy Markiv, 24 years of imprisonment, at the initiative of the Interior Ministry, the case was passed from the Security Service of Ukraine to the police. He noted that it was extremely difficult to investigate the death of Rocchelli in six years after the incident.

“But in fact we came to the fact that Vitaliy could not be involved in it. The investigation of the murder of Italian journalist Rocchelli and his translator Andriy Myronov continues and we will look for those who are really involved in this murder. We will continue the case until its complete end,” Herashchenko noted.
