Ukraine will approve the provision which facilitates the process of receiving permission for visiting Crimea, as President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said during a visit to Turkey, broadcasted by 112 Ukraine.
Zelensky stressed that Ukrainian side will always attract the attention of the international community to violation of the rights of Crimean Tatars by Russia’s occupation authorities in Crimea, and it is observing the issues of Crimean Tatar resettlements who had to leave Crimea due to Russian aggression.
“I assure you, Ukraine will not leave resettlements alone with the problem. We realize that it’s important for you (Crimean Tatars, - ed.) to visit your relatives and native land. Soon, the provision which facilitates the process of receiving permission to visit Crimea on the legislative level,” the President noted.
It should be noted that according to Ukraine’s border protection service, the citizens of Ukraine, foreigners and people without citizenship do not have a right to arrive/leave territory of Ukraine through the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. It means that one can reach Crimea from Turkey by sea in an illegal way.
