President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky believes that the Ukrainian side should participate in a possible meeting between US President Joe Biden and Russian leader Vladimir Putin if they are going to raise the issue of Ukraine. Zelensky said this during a briefing following the talks in France.
"This is very timely and important. When there is such a dialogue, as they say, the guns are silent. And so it seems to me that this could solve some issues. Because there should be a dialogue between these countries. Sometimes, when such large states do not talk, others are suffering," he said.
As we reported earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced that advisers to the heads of Normandy four countries will hold talks on April 19. Zelensky said this at a briefing, following negotiations with President of France Emmanuel Macron started in Paris on Friday.
"I think it is important, we are approaching the regular meeting of Normandy Four. I believe that it is possible. On April 19, there will be a meeting of the Normandy Four leaders' advisors, a number of issues will be discussed. First of all, clusters will be discussed, this is what we talked about a few months ago, the German-French side will make clusters, now with the additions of Ukraine, Russia is also being considered. All four countries will prepare additions to these clusters, with which they agree, with which they do not," Zelensky said.
