The Health Ministry of Ukraine renewed the list of countries of ‘red’ and ‘green’ zones, considering the number of active cases of coronavirus disease per 100,000 of the population as the ministry reported.
Thus, 45 countries are on the ‘red’ zone list; while 47 countries were considered as ‘red’ last week. Particularly, the list includes the UK, where the significant spread of new coronavirus strain is observed. Besides, Germany was put on the list.
Italy and Jordan were removed from the ‘red’ zone states and they can be found in the ‘green’ list. Totally, the ‘green’ list includes 149 countries.

People who arrive in Ukraine from the ‘red’ zone should pass 14-day isolation or pass PCR-test for Covid-19. Besides, people might enter Ukraine with a prepared test taken not later than 48 hours before the border crossing.
The ‘red’ zone includes states, where the number of new cases of coronavirus per 100,000 of the population during the past 14 days surpasses the same rate in Ukraine.
As of December 24, 11,490 new cases of coronavirus infection were reported in Ukraine over the last 24hrs. 2,721 patients were hospitalized during the last day, 223 succumbed to the disease, and 15,775 managed to recover.
