On Wednesday, June 9, another batch of the Comirnaty Covid-19 vaccine produced by Pfizer-BioNTech, purchased at the expense of the state budget, arrived in Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health.
66,690 doses of this vaccine arrived in Ukraine. Doses from this batch will be used to vaccinate people from 1-3 stages of vaccination.
"Vaccinations will be carried out in an organized manner by mobile teams. For each person who received the first dose of Comirnaty / Pfizer, a second dose from the same batch will be reserved," the message reads.
It is noted that today Ukraine has already received 234,000 doses of this drug, purchased at state expense.
The first batch of this vaccine arrived in Ukraine on May 26. The plane brought 170,000 doses of the drug to Kyiv international airport.
Meanwhile, all regions of Ukraine passed to the “green” zone of quarantine restrictions.
Thus, according to the ministry, the average level of incidence with coronavirus in Ukraine makes 72 per 100,000 of the population; while the norm is not more than 75 per 100,000 of population.
The level of hospitalizations in Ukraine has reduced up to 15,5 per 100,000 of the population (the norm is not more than 60 per 100,000 of the population).
