Ukraine is ready for any format of peace talks on resolving the conflict in Donbas. This was announced by Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba on the air of the Dom TV channel.

According to him, at a meeting with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, a package of measures to contain Russia and how the parties to return to the implementation of the Minsk agreements were discussed. He also noted that Ukraine, the USA, France and Germany are united by a common goal - to return Russia to the negotiating table.

"Ukraine remains committed to the diplomatic path of resolving the conflict. We are ready for any format of moving forward and we want the Russian Federation to confirm its commitment to a diplomatic settlement," Kuleba added.

Earlier it was reported that US President Joe Biden and Russian leader Vladimir Putin will hold direct talks in the near future.

According to US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, the United States is ready to work with Russia and Ukraine to support the settlement of the diplomatic process.

According to media reports, the talks between the presidents of the two countries may take place on December 7.
