The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine and the Health Ministry of Ukraine have promised to help the Ukrainians, who receive treatment in Belarus, to return home as the Foreign Ministry reported.

“Due to the closing on May 26 of the air traffic between Ukraine and Belarus, the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine and the Health Ministry of Ukraine work on the solution of the logistic issue of the Ukrainian citizens who receive treatment in Belarusian medical facilities,” the message said.

Currently, 26 Ukrainian citizens stay in Belarus and receive medical aid (transplantation of bodies, bone marrow, and immune therapy); four Ukrainians pass the examination.

The diplomats and specialists of the Health Ministry are ready to provide maximal assistance to these citizens in the development of the best travel route in each particular case, considering the state of health.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal reported that Ukraine ceased the air traffic with Belarus at midnight, on May 26.

In its turn, Belarusian airline Belavia canceled all flights to Ukraine until August 25, 2021.
