Ukraine has pledged in a memorandum with the IMF to vaccinate 17 million people by the end of 2021. This is stated in the text of the memorandum on the website of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.

"Recognizing that vaccination efforts are key to supporting economic recovery, we (Ukraine) have provided a sufficient supply of vaccines and aim to vaccinate at least 17 million people by the end of 2021," the memorandum reads.

The memorandum also added that the number of vaccines purchased by the Ukrainian government this year is sufficient to achieve this figure.

13,000,632 people had received at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine in Ukraine as of November 24.
