Ukraine is currently preparing for the next disengagement of forces in Donbas. Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov stated this during a direct Washington - Kyiv connection, Ukrinform reported.
"The locations of four more points of possible disengagement of forces and equipment, as well as about 19 new locations for possible humanitarian demining, have already been identified," Reznikov said.
Nevertheless, according to him, the final point has not yet been reached on this issue, since the Minsk process is blocked due to the position of the Russian Federation and its occupation regimes in Donetsk and Luhansk.
At the same time, Reznikov said that Ukraine is preparing for the opening by November 10 two checkpoints of entry-exit (EECP) in the area of the settlements Schastya and Zolote.
As you know, the Zolote checkpoint, the only automobile crossing point of the demarcation line in the Luhansk region, was closed in 2016. Now in the Luhansk region, there is only one checkpoint in Stanytsia Luhanska, however, it was also closed due to quarantine restrictions until the end of October.
