“Within the next couple of days, we will announce the contract for at least 10 million doses of the vaccine,” Stepanov noted.
According to him, the issue is about drugs against Covid-19 that will be supplied during 2021.
Stepanov also reminded that as of today, Ukraine has agreed on the supply of 22 million doses of the vaccine, including 14 million doses on contract and 8 million doses within COVAX.
Meanwhile, the minister drew attention to the failure to deliver on time the vaccines on contracts.
Earlier, Maksym Stepanov stated that 1.7 million doses of the vaccine would be supplied to Ukraine within COVAX until the end of May.
Besides, Stepanov stated that Ukraine should produce its own vaccine against coronavirus while there is a "war" for existing drugs in the world.
