10 Ukrainian visa application centers will begin to work abroad in January. They will service the foreigners who want to apply for a visa to enter Ukraine. The Directorate General for consular service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported this at Facebook.
The centers will be opened in Angola (Luanda), Egypt (Cairo), India (Deli), China (Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai), Lebanon (Beirut), Morocco (Rabat), Nigeria (Abuja) and Tunisia (Tunis). They will cooperate with the foreign diplomatic departments of Ukraine in these countries.
They work will start on January 15, 2018.
'The foreigners will be able to apply the documents for the execution of the Ukrainian visa in the suitable format for them and get the number of the additional services (making of photos, translation and copying of the documents, execution of the medical insurance policy, express services, SMS-informing, services at the enhanced comfort halls)', the message said.
The centers will also make the decision on the execution of the documents or the refusal to issue the visa.
The visa-free regime between the EU and Ukraine took effect on June 11, 2017; the European Parliament approved the respective decision on April 6. 52,000 Ukrainians crossed the EU border on the first day of the visa-free regime.
