The Ukrainian side does not have any intentions to attack, the military forces are ready to implement tasks on defense, as Rodion Tymoshenko, Deputy Head of Armed Forces General Staff, said, Interfax-Ukraine reported.
“We do not intend to attack. The military units are ready to implement tasks to defend the state,” he said at the briefing on Monday, November 26, in Kyiv.
According to Tymoshenko, the Ukrainian side does not intend to escalate the conflict, but it will react to Russia’s actions.
Earlier, the National Security and Defence Council proposed the President to introduce the martial law from 2 pm on November 26 till January 25, 2019. President Poroshenko has approved the proposal with his decree.
