The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine holds the negotiations on the visa-free regime or simplification of the visa-free regime with more than two dozens countries. The negotiations with new states will begin soon as 112 Ukraine reported citing Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin.
“We hold the negotiations and consultations on the further simplification of the visa regime or visa-free regime with 22 countries. In a few months, the negotiations with new states will begin. We want to enter a very decent level in a few years,” the minister said.
As we reported Ukraine improved its position in the passport rating for three points in 2018, and took the 41st place in the Henley & Partners Company list. Currently, the Ukrainian passport allows to travel to 128 countries without a visa, which is 14 states more than it was in 2017.
The visa-free regime between the EU and Ukraine took effect on June 11, 2017; the European Parliament approved the respective decision on April 6. 52,000 Ukrainians crossed the EU border on the first day of the visa-free regime.
