Quarantine measures may be weakened in Ukraine. Mitigation will affect, in particular, the holding of concerts, mass, cultural events. It was announced by the Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine Oleksandr Tkachenko during a government meeting.
"I ask you to make a protocol instruction on amending the Cabinet of Ministers' resolution dated December 9, 2020," Tkachenko said.
Thus, in case of a negative test result, the government can expand the opportunities for holding concerts, mass, cultural events, allow various types of accommodation to work, remove time restrictions for catering establishments and self-isolation of citizens.
Also, the government may allow foreigners from certain countries to cross the border.
The Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Justice, and the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers were instructed to formalize the decision within two days in accordance with regulatory requirements and submit it to the Prime Minister of Ukraine.
As we reportd earlier, on May 25, 16,387 people received their shots against coronavirus.
987,193 people got inoculated in Ukraine since the beginning of the inoculation campaign; 97,391 of them have successfully completed the vaccination course. Two people received one of their doses abroad.
