Ukraine may continue quarantine after June 30

The quarantine restrictions and the state of emergency in Ukraine can be extended after June 30. Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Oleh Nemchynov said so on the air of the Ukraine 24 channel.

"I don't think it's just for two months. I think when we impose this emergency, we realized it was for a long time… We are now in the third wave. Accordingly, quarantine restrictions continue," Nemchinov said.

He also announced that six regions would soon leave the "red" quarantine zone, including Kyiv and Kyiv region.

As it was reported earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers has extended the emergency situation and quarantine in Ukraine until June 30.
