The flight will take place from Boryspil Airport at 11:20 and arrive at the international airport Pearson in Toronto at 14:35. Andry Shevchenko, Ukraine’s Ambassador to Canada and Roman Vashchuk, Canada’s Ambassador to Ukraine will meet the plane at the airport.
At the same time, the celebrations dedicated to the opening of the direct connection of Kyiv are planned in Toronto airport. The leaders of the airport, city, Ukrainian community will participate in them. It is expected that the representatives’ group of the Ukrainian tourist companies will arrive at the first flight.
According to the International Airlines of Ukraine, three flights Kyiv – Toronto will take place weekly in the summer, and two flights in the winter.
The international airport Pearson in Toronto is the biggest airport of Canada with a capacity of 4 million passengers.
As we reported, Canada will collect biometric data of all Ukrainian citizens who apply for a visa. At the same time, the biometric will be collected from each applicant only once every 10 years, regardless of the length of the issued visa.
