Previously, the Prosecutor General’s Office predicted that Ukraine could return at least 50% of assets of Yanukovych from Latvia

Ukraine and Latvia will coordinate the return of financial assets of former officials to Ukraine. This was announced by Petro Poroshenko during the joint briefing with the President of Latvia Raimonds Vejonis in Riga.

“Today we have reached several important agreements, including on further work and coordination in returning financial assets to Ukraine.

We appreciate the position of Latvia on the need to enter into force and implement the association agreement. We expect that our Dutch partners will complete the ratification process in the near future, and, finally, this agreement, the instruments of ratification will be deposited in Brussels, "Poroshenko said.

Earlier it was reported that Poroshenko to paid an official visit to Latvia today. President will meet his Latvian counterpart Raimonds Vejonis, Prime Minister and Parliament’s Speaker of the country.
