Ukraine has not become a prisoner of the upcoming presidential elections in the U.S., but there is such threat, as Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin said at the briefing of Eastern Partnership Summit, broadcasted by 112 Ukraine.

“In theory, there is such a threat, I don’t see any practical one. We are working on preventing this. If it happens, this is not the worst thing for our partnership and friendship with the U.S.,” Klimkin said.

As it was reported, the lawyer of U.S. President, Rudolph Giuliani, who canceled his trip to Ukraine "because of the enemies of Donald Trump and the USA" from Zelensky surrounding, voiced one of their names. This is MP Serhiy Leshchenko, who on the eve of the presidential elections in Ukraine joined Zelensky's team.  

"Based on what I heard from two very reliable people tonight, I am convinced that the president (Zelensky, - ed.) is surrounded by people who are the enemies of the president (Trump, - ed.), and people who at least in one case are clearly corrupt and involved in this scheme, "said Giuliani.
