Ukraine’s General Prosecutor’s Office investigates cases against 46 high-ranking officials of Russian Federation for leading an aggressive war against Ukraine and other grave crimes, reports Interfax-Ukraine.
“46 citizens of Russian Federation are prosecuted for leading an aggressive war against Ukraine and other grave crimes by military prosecutor’s office,” Prosecutor’s Office reported.
Russian presidential adviser Sergey Glazyev, former presidential envoy to the Crimean Federal District Oleg Belaventsev, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu, Russian Deputy Defense Ministers Dmitry Bulgakov and Nikolai Pankov, First Deputy Defense Minister Valery Gerasimov, and other high-ranking were pressed charges, according to the agency.
In particular Sergey Glazyev is suspected of “while being in Moscow, acting by previous concert with other representatives of the Russian government, controlling unidentified persons in Ukraine who committed acts aimed at overthrowing the constitutional order and changing the borders of Ukrainian territory.”
As it was reported earlier General Prosecutor’s Office handed in note of suspicion to MP Dobkin. “They said they will not arrest me,” the deputy said.
Ukrainian Parliament approved bringing MP Dobkin to justice. Former mayor of Kharkiv city faced charges with several tough crimes, including kidnapping, power abuse and creating a criminal organization.
