Ukraine, India agree on enhancing bilateral political dialogue and economic cooperation

Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and India agreed on a presidential meeting in 2018

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin was on an official visit to India on October 5-6, according to the ministry’s press service.

On October 5, Klimkin held negotiations with his Indian counterparts Sushma Swaraj, M J Akbar, and Vijay Singh.

The parties agreed on enhancing bilateral political dialogue and economic cooperation and holding a presidential meeting in 2018.

Economic cooperation was emphasized as a vector of development. The parties confirmed the intention to hold a Joint Inter-governmental Commission on various issues in Kyiv in November 2017.
