Ukraine was included in TOP-20 gas hubs of Europe for the first time and occupied the 18th place according to the rating of the European Federation of Energy Traders (EFET). The press service of ‘Naftogaz-Ukraine’ reported this.
It is noted that EFET included Ukraine in the annual review of the gas hubs for the first time. Ukraine got 3.5 points and yielded to such liquid hubs as NBP, TTF, NCG but outran Bulgaria and Romania that began the process of the liberalization earlier then Ukraine.
‘Ukraine should set the tariffs at the inner entry/exit points of the gas-transporting system, implement the everyday balancing with the regulation of the imbalance and begin to use the short-term standardize products at the trading platform within the everyday balancing to improve the place in the EFET rating’, the ‘Naftogaz’ thinks.
