Ukraine holds talks with two American pharmaceutical companies on supplies of the vaccines against coronavirus. RBK-Ukraine reported that, citing Head of the parliamentary committee on population’s health Mykhailo Radutsky.
“The talks are held with Johnson & Johnson who have the one-dose vaccine, and Moderna,” Radutsky informed.
The MP added that Ukraine has already agreed on the supplies of the vaccines with AstraZeneca, Pfizer, CoronaVac, and NovaVax.
As we reported, the fourth stage of the vaccination against coronavirus has started in Ukraine. People at the age over 60, people with concurrent conditions, prisoner population, and staff of the detention places.
On June 23, 79,921 people were vaccinated against Covid-19 in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, 1,794,001 were vaccinated: 1,793,999 had one dose; 435,166 were fully vaccinated. Totally, 2,229,165 shots were performed.
