Zelensky orders competent vice prime minister and foreign ministry to urgently begin the talks

Health Minister Maksym Stepanov stated that Ukraine started the talks with the number of the countries on the pre-order of the vaccine against coronavirus infection, as 112 Ukraine TV channel reported.

“President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky provided a proper order to the competent vice prime minister and foreign ministry to urgently begin the talks with the government of the country, with proper public structures of the country toward the pre-order of this vaccine,” Stepanov stated.

Besides, he has noted that it is important for the government to make Ukraine one of the first countries with the usage of the vaccine.

Earlier, Zelensky ordered the government to enhance the talks at the international arena about cooperation in the purchase of the vaccine against Covid-19 if it is produced.

Besides, the president of Ukraine stated that in the case of the especially dangerous infectious disease or mass spread of the disease, the obligatory preventive vaccinations may take place in the country.

As of June 17, Ukrainian medics reported already 33,234 cases of Covid-19 in the country. Over the last 24 hours, the disease was confirmed in another 758 people. 943 people succumbed to the disease, 31 of them over the last 24 hours. 14,943 people recovered from coronavirus, as the repeated test did not reveal any signs of the virus in their bodies.
