It is reported that Iran passed the tablet in December 2020. The complex forensic analysis continues to establish the reasons and nature of affection of the plane, the volume of financial damage and observance of the rules of international flights.
“Under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor General’s Office, the investigation continues of the plane catastrophe near Teheran. During a year, over 200 procedural and investigative actions were held; 18 requests were filed on the international legal aid to other countries; we constantly cooperate with competent bodies of Iran and Canada,” Venedyktova wrote.
Ukraine has recently received from Iran the draft final technical report on the air crash.
“60 days provided for the analysis of this document and the provision of comments and offers. After this, the Iranian side has a month to improve it. Only after the approval by the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), it will be published”, Venedyktova concluded.
As we reported earlier, on January 8, Boeing 737 of Ukraine's International Airlines (PS 752 flight) with 176 passengers aboard crashed in Tehran, not far from Imam Khomeini airport.
11 citizens of Ukraine died in the crash. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that the passenger plane crash in the Iranian capital had left no survivors.
Last week it was announced that the Iranian government would allocate 150,000 euros for payments to all the families of those killed in the crash.
